Use SMS to serve customers, not to evade rules.
Agency SMS Gateway changes the transport architecture. It does not eliminate consent requirements, opt-out obligations, carrier policies, or applicable law.
1. Consent first
Customers must only message recipients when they have a lawful basis and appropriate consent for the type of communication being sent. Purchased, scraped, harvested, or unlawfully obtained lists are prohibited.
2. Respect opt-outs
STOP and other valid opt-out requests must be honored promptly. ASG includes STOP/opt-out handling tools, but agencies remain responsible for making sure opt-outs are honored across every connected workflow and system. Agencies may not re-add opted-out contacts simply to continue promotional messaging.
3. No spam or evasion
ASG may not be used for spam, deceptive messaging, carrier-filter evasion, SIM farming, unsolicited high-volume campaigns, or attempts to defeat carrier enforcement.
4. Warm-up tools do not override carrier rules
ASG includes a structured warm-up toolset and message-variation features intended to support responsible ramp-up and campaign hygiene. These tools are not permission to evade carrier filtering, spam controls, or acceptable-use policies.
5. Carrier fair-use still applies
Your mobile carrier controls the wireless plan and can impose limits, filtering, throttling, suspension, or termination. “No per-message ASG platform fee” does not mean the carrier allows unlimited automated traffic.
6. Agency responsibility
Each agency is responsible for its own client agreements, campaign content, consent records, legal compliance, carrier plan selection, and end-user practices.
7. Enforcement
Agency SMS Gateway may pause, limit, or terminate access where misuse, unlawful messaging, excessive complaints, or risk to the platform is identified.
